Adoption Process

As a bernedoodle breeder that strives to have the highest level of integrity, we want to make your puppy buying experience easy and enjoyable...we encourage questions and will try our best to answer them. We want you to go home feeling good about choosing a puppy from us.

The first 8 weeks of a puppy's life are an important start to a healthy life. We start with an aggressive deworming program, trying our best to protect against parasites. We have them vet checked when they are around 6 weeks old; the vet does a general exam, checking their eyes, ears, heart, etc. making sure they are healthy and ready for new homes.  At 7 weeks they are given a 5-way vaccine and a booster is given at 10 weeks if the puppy hasn't gone to its new home yet.  And in those first 8 weeks, we spend countless hours socializing with the puppies ensuring they are ready for the adjustment to a new family.

When the puppy reaches 8 weeks it is old enough to go to its new home. Your new puppy will come with:

• A one-year genetic health guarantee.
• A health certificate from our veterinarian.
• vaccine and deworming record and a folder to store it in.
• A toy, because our puppies love to play:)
• A blanket with its mother's and siblings' scent on it to help make the transition easier.
• And a small bag of Purina Pro Plan puppy food so that the puppy can continue eating the same food, if you do want to switch to a different kind we recommend mixing the two kinds at first to make the transition easier.

Please note, all puppies that are picked up are subject to a 6% PA sales tax.
